The Organiser
Gérard Caupène, 53 years old, began running 42 years ago !

240 km solo without any assistance in the Sahara desert between Araouane and Timbuktu in 2003.
203 km in 24 Hours in 2002.
31st place at the "Marathon des Sables" in 1998.
Marathon 2h57 at 19 years old.
100 km PB 8h53 at 24 years old.

Caroline

She has always practiced various sports : gym, ice-skating, climbing and skiing
Her passion ( and her job) is singing opera (lyric mezzo).

STAFF

About 40 volunteers
A medical team fully experienced in the needs of a race with several stages.
Focus on detail and safety !
